Understanding the Pause of Hillside SPCA’s Humane Program
At Hillside SPCA, our commitment to animal welfare is unwavering, and our mission has always centered on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. For over two years, our shelter has been dedicated to handling a particularly large and complex case that has stretched our resources and capacity. While we have always welcomed animals in need, our current circumstances have pushed us to maximum capacity. By pausing the humane program, we ensure that we can focus our energy on the animals already in our shelter, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
